Mindset and Beauty

A Holistic Path to Enhance Beauty

A pretty face is nothing without a beautiful mindset and personality. When you start looking at people’s souls instead of just their faces, it becomes clear that the real beauty comes from within. Although it’s something you hear often, you are as beautiful as you feel, and there’s no makeup that can cover up the sadness or negativity. Balancing both the physical and mental aspects shouldn’t be a tough task, and there’s always room for improvement.

Cup Half Full

The truth is, life’s all about your own perspective. This might sound like a cliché, but it’s really important to look for a ray of sunshine even on a cloudy day. One positive thought in the morning can change your entire day, so be kind to yourself and don’t let the negative thoughts prevail. We all struggle with different problems, and there’s nothing you can’t fix or overcome.  Counting your blessings and being thankful for everything and everyone you have in your life, can make a huge mind-shift to your life, and that will reflect from within-out.

Beauty from Within
From time to time, great hair can make you feel fabulous! However, after many years of dying and bleaching your hair, along with countless chemical treatments, it tends to become dull and grow slower than before. Therefore, making the switch to natural and organic hair products can be hair healing. Taking high-quality supplements for your skin and hair can also be a huge help for natural beauty. For hair and skin, naturopaths recommended high-quality fish oil, zinc and probiotics to name a few.

Happy girls are the prettiest, it’s true. But, adding a little bit of mascara and lipstick can increase confidence, and that helps too. Proper skin care is a great foundation for any makeup you put on your lovely face. In order to keep your skin healthy and glowy, you should stick to organic products that are gentle to your whole body. Nourish your skin with softening lotions, and indulge a bubble bath from time to time. Whatever makes you relaxed and happy is good.

Offline is the new luxury

Take a step back from social media, and detox from people who are bad for your self-esteem. Truth be told, no one’s life is more worthy than yours, and not everything is as awesome as they pretend it is. Focus on more important things rather than just scrolling through boring content and craving useless material things. Learn how to disconnect from the cyber world once you’re outside the house. Read more books, spend more time in nature, meet a friend for a coffee, or take sport or dancing lessons. Also, you have to force yourself to put your phone away whenever you can. Overusing cellphones leads to eye strain, headaches, tiredness. Stop fearing you’re missing out on something by checking your phone every minute because it’s all a highlight reel.

Find your Tribe
As you get older and more mature, your confidence grows as well. Respect yourself enough to walk away from toxic friends, colleagues or relationships. Don’t feel guilty for discounting with people out of your life because the quality of whom you share your time with is always better than quantity. You don’t have to explain anything or make up excuses, just do what feels right in your heart. Close friends are the best, and those who are really worthy of your time and company. Nothing makes you feel better than a healthy soul sister chat, that lights your heart up and will radiate your beauty – because you feel GOOD!
